Dora Pickett Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dora Pickett of Monroe, Wisconsin, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on July 28, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Hicks and Annie Hicks (Ebert); her husband Hulett L. Pickett; her daughter Sharon Jorenby; and her son-in-law George Fitzgerald.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Jo Fitzgerald of Monroe, Robert "Bob" Pickett of Monticello and Mike Pickett (Judy) of Monticello; and her grandchildren, Mark Jorenby, Brad Pickett (Bethany), Bryce Pickett (Heather), Jennifer Anderson (Jason), Dani Valentine (Nick), Chris Pickett (Taylor) and Drew Pickett. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given in Dora's name to the Green County Humane Society.
