He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Hilliard and Lydia Hilliard (Arn); his parents-in-law, Herman and Emma Babler; his brothers, Ron Hilliard and David Hilliard; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Kurth, Alan Babler, Jean Shippy, Don Babler and Evelyn Babler.
He is survived by: his wife Bev of Monroe; his children, Vickie DeNure (Scott) of Monroe, Doug Hilliard (Kelly) of Monroe, Jodi Hilliard (Jim Lukken) of Monticello and Greg Hilliard (Gaila) of Monroe; his grandchildren, Kyle DeNure (Melissa), Tyler DeNure (Andrea), Mitch DeNure (Megan), Brandon Hilliard (Megan), Desmond Ford, Kaylynn Conway, Lexi Weckerly (Hunter) and Sydney Hilliard; his stepgrandchildren, Nick Rieder and Kris Rieder; his great grandchildren, Dash, Cruz, Camden, Louie, Bryce, Nolan, Colin DeNure, Paisley Hilliard and Lydia Alt; his sisters, Lavonne Kurth and Linda Kraeft; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Hilliard, Ron Shippy and Tom Kraeft.
A memorial fund will be established in Darrell's name.
