He is survived by: his sons, Aaron (Anne Michener) and Randy; his sister Elsbeth Hohn; his sister-in-law Tessie Bernet; his son-in-law David Hackett; his grandson Mike Teal; and his pet Jackson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Erickson Funeral Home (801 E Milwaukee St, Argyle, WI 53504). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (Argyle, WI 53504).
