With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlotte J. Ackerman (Monroe, Wisconsin), born in Brodhead, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 8, 2019 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Garde and Katherine Garde (Nipple); her husband Melvin Ackerman; her brother Stanley; her sister-in-law Vivian Garde; her son-in-law Fred Castellanos; and her close friend Paul Carroll of Durand, IL..

She is survived by: her daughters, Beatrice Ackerman of San Antonio, TX, Charmel Sutter (Steven) of Monroe and Denise Huffman (Robert) of Monroe; her grandchildren, Dan Sutter (Amy) of Cincinnati, OH, Gwen Sutter of Monroe, Jacob Huffman of Monroe and Taylor Huffman (Heather Hale) of Footville, WI; and her great grandchildren, Avery Huffman and Carter Hale.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to: Family Promise of Green County, 1009 15th Ave, Monroe, WI 53566.
