As Burleigh departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Burleigh. Though Burleigh may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bartlett and Vera Bartlett (Drake). He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Bartlett of Monroe; his sons, James (Ann) of Middleton, Daniel (Sara Pfannkuche) of Champaign, IL and John (Amy) of Monroe; and his grandchildren, Alex (Laura Sandry), Ryan (Jane Brayko) and Audrey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (1329 31st Ave, Monroe, WI 53566). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
A memorial fund will be established in Burleigh's name.
