He is survived by: his children, Greg Melland of Monroe and Brenda Phillips (Melland) of Monroe; his grandchildren, Jake Melland of Monroe, Zack Phillips of Monroe and Kyla Phillips of Argyle; his siblings, Calvin Melland (Myrtle) of South Wayne, Winogene Everson of Monroe, Ramona DeNure of Argyle and Juanita Kent (Jeff) of South Wayne; and his brother-in-law Roy Halvorson of Browntown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
