He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Johnson and Christine Johnson (Peterson); his former wife Margaret Winter; his son Scot M. Johnson; his siblings, Orville, Norris, Lawrence, Charles, John, Lavern, Cecil, Burdette, Mable Parish and Adella Wagnild; and his parents-in-law, Elmer "Chick" and Elaine Winter.
He is survived by: his daughter Jane Nogle (Jim) of Mondovi; his fiancée Marjorie Herbenson of Eleva; his grandchildren, Scot (Darcie) of Mondovi, Seth (Amber) of Mondovi and Shae (Stacey) of Mondovi; his brother-in-law John Winter of Durand; and his great grandchildren, Brysen, Anicka and Violet. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
