She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Pronschinske and Mary Pronschinske (Sendelbach); her husband Gene Weiss; and her siblings, Doris Filla, Leora Skroch, Robert Pronschinske, Rita Bork and Rudolph Proschinske.
She is survived by: her sister Anna Schmitt; her children, Michael Weiss (Brian Ness), Steven Weiss, Kathleen Oesau (Craig), Max Weiss (Laura Dregney), Greg Weiss (Micci), Donovan Weiss (Amanda Mikesell), Karen Larson (Darrell) and Jason Weiss; her grandchildren, Calvin Peterson (Nicole Johnson), Nash Weiss, Dustin Oesau, Devin Oesau, Derrick Weiss (Stephanie), Ashley Bauer (Jordan), Brody Larson, Lance Larson, Anna Jarvis, Mason Mikesell, Jayden Mikesell and Bennett Mikesell; and her great grandchildren, Rhett Bauer, Ezra Johnson, Ivan Johnson, Kaydence Johnson and Brock Krueger. She is also survived by many relatives and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, Janice's family requests that memorial donations in her honor be directed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for future needs of the parish.
