We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2021 we had to say goodbye to George Wantoch of Mondovi, Wisconsin, born in Winona, Minnesota. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Wantoch and Olive Wantoch (Pronschinske); his siblings, Joseph, Pat, Elaine and Theodore Jr.; his niece Sarah Wantoch; and his nephew Jerome Wantoch.

He is survived by: his brother Joe; his children, Jonathon Wantoch (Katie) of Colfax, WI, Matthew Wantoch of Rocky Point, NC, Tyler Wantoch of Menomonie, WI, Adam Wantoch of Mondovi, WI and Olivia Freeland (Matthew) of Durand, WI; his grandchildren, Gabriella, Broderik, Dalila, Allesandra, Ava and Emma; and his sisters, Mary Drury and Pauline Krause. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

“Hi Wantoch Family, I wanted let you know how much your Dad meant to me. I have known you Dad for 24 years. Back when he was farming. I had moved to Mondovi and became a member of Sacred Heart Parish. He asked me to be a member of the Knights of Columbus. I will always appreciate him for that. I became Grand Knight and he served the council as its Treasure. We also were in the Fourth Degree. He was a good man. I will miss him. My censer Condolences. Chuck Daul”
