We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2024, at the age of 81, Gene Allen Laehn of Mondovi, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Laehn and Wanda Laehn (Kent); his wives, Eleanor Lindberg and Jeannine Crawford; his siblings, Donald, Lee and Leona; and his stepson Greg Schmidtknecht.

He is survived by: his children, Tracy Laehn (Debbie) of Mondovi and Jennifer Laehn of Oshkosh; his grandchildren, Mitchell Wold (Erika Kohler), Shanna Laehn (Brandon Hernandez), Brady Laehn, Brooklyn and Jocelyn Sheridan; his great grandchildren, Avery Laehn and Collyns Kohler; his stepdaughters, Tami Myren (Perry) and Toni Schmidtknecht; his stepgrandchildren, Cole Myren, Alayna Myren, Brittany Schmidtknecht, Jason Schmidtknecht (Ashley) and Joe Schmidtknect (Ann); his brother Loren Laehn (Helen); and his half-sister Shirley Galster (Richard).
