She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Anderson and Stella Anderson (Torkelson); her husband Richard Johnson; her stepfather Mitchell Klody; her brothers, Howard and Hayward Anderson; her brother-in-law Robert Marker; and her sons-in-law, Ron Becker and Jerry Polasky.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Polasky (Hudson), Debra Becker, Steven (Johnson), Thomas Johnson (Eau Claire), Timothy (Johnson) and Dana (Zagzebski); her grandchildren, Joshua Polasky, Jonathan Polasky (Marcine), Ashley Rosin (Adam), Mallory Hasbargen (Andrew), Jessica Bauer (Dean), Seth Johnson (Emma), Claire Johnson, Koleman Brenner (Carolyn), Konrad Zagzebski (Gretchen) and Ingrid Zagzebski; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Jackson, Annabeth, Elleanor, Maya, Brynn, Kade, Nora, Hadlee, Baron, Duke, Christina, Francesca, Maren and William; her brother George Klody (Jill); and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Marker, Mary Etta Anderson and Virginia Hanson (Emil). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the American Lutheran Home auxiliary and served as honorary chair for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life for Buffalo County.
