She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Hanson and Marit Hanson (Helstad); and her son Steven. She is survived by: her husband Frank Kohler; her daughter-in-law Chris Kohler of Nelson; her grandchildren, David Kohler of Eagan, MN and Carmen Briggs (Jon) of Winona; her great grandchildren, Abagail and Spencer Briggs; and her son Brad Kohler. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
