It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Samz of Mishicot, Wisconsin, born in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 21, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hronek and Clara Hronek (Shedivy); her husband Bernard Samz of Luke's Catholic Church; her sons-in-law, Tom Haese and Mike Ryan; and her granddaughter Kayla Samz.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Ryan of Waunakee, Sandra Haese (Dan Zachek) of Valders, Robert Samz (Karen) of Two Rivers, Ellen Meyer (Rick) of Newton, Bernie Samz (Debbie) of Mishicot and Daniel Samz of Manitowoc; her grandchildren, Michael Ryan (Margaret LaBorde), Andrew Haese (Jennifer), Kevin Haese (Michelle), Kelly Litersky (Justin), Cory Samz, Jared Meyer (Jessica Hodkiewicz), Christopher Meyer (Whitney Gebhart) and Mitchell Samz (Olivia); her great grandchildren, Oscar, Leo, Collin, Kyle, Riley of Emma, P. J., Aiden, Leighton, Cameron, Drake and Beau; her sisters-in-law, Helen Koch and Marietta Samz; and her cousin Elaine Dewane. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
