He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Alvin, Agnes Giese, Roy and Bernice Kriesel. He is survived by: his parents, Donald M. Kroening and Barbara A. Kroening (Giese) of Shawano; his stepson Alex Vandenplas (Trisha); his siblings, Rodney S. Kroening (Jen Olson), Laurie Herm (Ron) of Cecil, Leah Goerke (Marty) of Cecil and Luann Milmoe (Chris) of Texas; and his godchildren, Miranda Brown, Michael Peters, Stephanie Mielke, Jerod Kobes and Dani Vandenplas. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
