He was predeceased by: his parents, Doolan Tuma and Clara Tuma (Schwoerer); his brothers, Jim Tuma (LaVerne), Richard Tuma (Janet), Donald Tuma and Wayne Tuma; his brothers-in-law, Gale Fenlon and Del Bredemann; and his parents-in-law, Betty and Walter Springstube.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Tuma; his children, Jamie Springstube (Joyce), Keith Springstube, Kelly Protsmann (Zach), Bruce Tuma (Meghan) and Traci Tuma-Venchus (Zac); his grandchildren, Greyson, Lily, Gavin, Henry, Willa and Tristan; and his siblings, Gregory Tuma (Bobbi), Peter Tuma (Nancy), JoAnn Fenlon and Janice Bredemann. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
