He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester J. Dassey and Eleanor A. Dassey (Krueger); his grandson Kristopher; his brothers-in-law, Jim Damman and Robert Stellwagen; and his parents-in-law, Ida and Otto Mettler.
He is survived by: his wife LaVerne Dassey; his children, Tim Dassey of DePere, Kathy Koch (Jim) of Kossuth and John Dassey of Mishicot; his granddaughter Tania Phillips (Keith); his sister Joyce Damman of Manitowoc; and his siblings-in-law, LeRoy Mettler and Veda Stellwagen. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
