She was predeceased by: her parents, William Griep and Erna Griep; her husband William Zell; her siblings, Katherine and John; and her parents-in-law, Effie Griep, Alice "Chick" Zell, Pastor Waldemar, Ruth Zarling, Pastor Edward, Jayne Zell and Oscar Barthels.
She is survived by: her children, Peter Zell (Teri) of Wasilla, Alaska, Sarah Guenther (Jim) of Franklin, Wisconsin and Karla Schwertfeger (Mark) of Waterford, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Casey Zell, Rachel Backus (John), Naomi Boerner (Russ) and Natalie Buerhaus; her great grandchildren, Jacob Schwertfeger, Hannah Hermes (Kyle), Leah Voss (Paul), Eve, Faith, Anna, Bethany, Abigail, Ava, Isaiah, Emma, Evelyn, Noah, Ezekiel, Sadie, Jack, Julian, Gabriel and Julia; her sister-in-law Hazel Barthels; and also, Paul Zell (Cathy) of Hendersonville, Joseph Zell, Emily Rothe (Matt) and Heidi Zell. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Luther Preparatory School of Watertown, Wisconsin or according to the donor's choice.
