It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James C. Kowaleski of Mishicot, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 8, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Kowaleski and Florence Kowaleski (Smits); his mother-in-law Marie Charles; his sister Karen Christensen (Lou); and his brother-in-law Ken "Corky" Ver Haagh.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his grandchildren, Cassandra Kowaleski, Zach Kowaleski, Kelsey Ross (Mike), Allyson Terrance (Matt) and Thank; his great grandchildren, Harrison, Cooper Terrance, Jackson, Adalyn Ross and Thanks; his siblings, Donald Patrick Kowaleski (Gail), Mike Kowaleski, Linda Pagel, Terry Ver Haagh and Mark Kowaleski (Rose); his father-in-law Richard Charles; and his siblings-in-law, Lyle Charles (Mary), Leonard Charles (Judy), Ricky Charles (Chris), Terry De Broux (Don) and Bruce Charles.
