We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Grace Schleis of Mishicot, Wisconsin, born in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Jindra, and Leona Jindra, Sr. (Meineke); her husband Emil "Red" Schleis, Jr.; her parents-in-law, Emil and Carrie Schleis, Sr.; her son-in-law Thomas Gall; her siblings, Ethel Breitwisch (Eddie), Alvin Jindra (Billie Fey), Roy Jindra and Dan Jindra (Patricia); and her sisters-in-law, Alice Anderle (Jim), Gladys Nejedlo (Dan) and Janice Pautz (Gordon).
She is survived by: her children, Mark Schleis (Gayle) of Summerville, S. C., Nancy Haak (Gordon) of Elkhorn, WI and Rev. Paul Schleis (Denise) of Green Bay; her grandchildren, Jessica Gall, Andrea Gall, Rev. Keith Schleis (Dawn), John Schleis (Amy), Dr. Greg Schleis (Cait) and Adam Schleis; her great grandchildren, Caleb, Carter, Charlotte, Naomi, Selah and Lollie; and her sister-in-law Carol Jindra of Mishicot. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and her beloved cat.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Mishicot, Manitowoc Lutheran High School or St. Croix Hospice.
