He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud Kappus and Effie Kappus (Lauger); his brothers, Bill, Charlie and Art Kappus; and his great grandchild Eric Jon.
He is survived by: his daughter Becky Gustafson (Bruce); and his grandchildren, Karla, Dustin (Liz), Cory, Glenn, McKayla, Nicky, Drew, Mya, Ana, Gideon, Piper, Maddy and Trey. He is also survived by several cousins, extended family, and many friends.
