He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred DeWald and Hazel DeWald of Round Lake, Illinois.; and his parents-in-law, Richard, Ida Mussa and Mike.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Mussa; his son Ryan Michael; his grandchild Ryan; his siblings, Sherry Stagg (Bill), Judy Gushwa (John) and Tim DeWald (Rita); his niece Natalie; his nephews, Ron and Jared; his daughter-in-law Marjorie; and his grandchildren, Fiona and Ezra.
