It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julie L Thayer of Minocqua, Wisconsin, born in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 31, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John L'Abbe and Julia L'Abbe (Shimkus); her daughter Gina Gruhlke; and her sister Karen L'Abbe. She is survived by: her husband Jack Thayer; her son Brian Walker of Wausau; her stepdaughters, Susan McManus (Ron) of California, Kelly Thayer-Hasketh (Steve) of Florida, Kerry Thayer of Minocqua and Jacquelyn Thayer of Florida; her siblings, Kerry Gaedtke of Mosinee and Jack L'Abbe of Mosinee; her grandchildren, John, Samantha and Brienna Walker; and her great grandchildren, Jace and Jax Brockman.
