He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Tilton and Agnes Tilton (Walsh); his son David; and his brothers, Russell and Charles "Babe" Tilton.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lee Mohr; his children, Patti Kalaskey (Tom) of Clearwater, Susan Potter of St. Germain, Anita Clarke (David) of Charlevoix and John Tilton (Julianna) of Madison, Alabama; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Charles, Alex, Patrick, Andrew and Ross; and his great grandchildren, Wrangler and Watson.
