He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sr. Trapp and Harriette Trapp. He is survived by: his wife Debbie (Novotny); his children, Scott, Jamie, Brandon, Josh and David; his grandson Nicholas; and his siblings, Ed, Jr., Jannie (Leisses), Jack, Mark, Richard and Robert. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
