He was predeceased by: his wife Dot; his son Donald Benjamin, Jr.; and his daughter-in-law Patty Benjamin. He is survived by: his spouse Dorothy Chambers; his children, Melinda Benjamin (John Forrest) and Stephanie Spencer; his grandchildren, Matthew Forrest, Claire Forrest and Tyler Benjamin; and his siblings, Marlene Sebrank (Norman) and Gary Benjamin (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
