He was predeceased by: his parents, George May and Elizabeth May (Schweitzer); his son Kerry May; his siblings, Joe, Don May and Rose; his brother-in-law Denny Copper; and his nephew Brian Spray.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Armstrong; his children, Kevin May (Kris) and Katrina Goninen (Dan); his grandchildren, Chelsea, Jordan, Haley May, Jay Goninen (Jenny), Justin Goninen (Catie) and Lyndsay Brecka (Greg); his great grandchildren, Hudson, Grady, Iyla, Beau and Parker; and his sister Alice Copper.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Mineral Point Opera House or the Mineral Point Rescue Squad.
