He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Paynter and Antoinette Paynter; his siblings, Roger, Ralph and Marilyn; his brother-in-law Calvin Hawksworth; and his great grandchild Nora Jagodzinski.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Paynter; his sons, Kevin (Jodi) and Mark (Pam); his grandchildren, Merisa, Brooke, Lucy Paynter, Kayla Bender, Chelsea Zastrow (Joseph), Casey Paynter, Joshua Paynter (Melissa), Sara Jagodzinski (Christopher) and Anthony Diprizio (Tricia); and his great grandchildren, Caleb, Evan, Bentley, Matteo, Giovanni, Luca, Zander, Asher, Phoenix, Peyton, Ryker, Mylah and Gideon. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:50 AM at the First United Methodist Church (400 Doty St, Mineral Point, WI 53565). A masonic service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Graceland Cemetery (800 Fair St, Mineral Point, WI 53565).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Mineral Point Masonic Lodge scholarship fund, Mineral Point Methodist Church or the charity of your choice in Raymonds name.
