He was predeceased by: his parent Harold Clyde; his siblings, Douglas, Peggy Kilbreth, Mary Abdoo and Joe Fitzsimmons; his son John Jakimiak; and his nephews, Walter Linder, Rick Kilbreth and Bradley Pertzborn.
He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Dotseth (Ron) of Wausau, Laura Linder of Ames, Marina Horst (Ron) of Ames, Margie Martin of Verona, Linda Hooks (Dan) of Owen, Edith Fitzsimmons of Madison and Henry Fitzsimmons (Kathy) of Surprise; his sisters-in-law, Adele Fitzsimmons and Donelle Fitzsimmons; his daughter Denise Jakimiak; and also, Mary Catherine Fitzsimmons (McKernan) and Dodgeville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
