She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Schmitz and Margaret Schmitz (Cunningham); her husband Ralph Pittz; her children, Ralph, Tony Pittz (Lori) of Mineral Point, Tim Pittz (Cindy) of Mineral Point, Troy Pittz (Teresa) of Mineral Point, Ted Pittz (Tina) of Mineral Point, Tari Engels (David) of Mineral Point, Torrie Zink (Jeff), Trisha Cox (Chris) and Tracie Cook (Cody); her brother John Schmitz (Mary) of Rockford, IL; her sisters-in-law, Marian, Helen, Barb Schmitz and Marion O'Brien (Dave Field); her siblings, Kathleen, Harold, Don, Bernie, Kenny, Laverne (Curly), Joe and Billy; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Radtke and Ray Pittz.
