He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Whitish and Ruby Whitish (Edge); and his great-niece Olivia Zimmer. He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Whitish-Temple (Martin Temple) of Melrose, MA and Emily Fitzsimmons (Scott Fitzsimmons) of Mineral Point; his grandchildren, Morgan Lobdell (Casey), Kathryn "Katie" Fitzsimmons, Graham Fitzsimmons and Alexandra Temple; and his siblings, Dean Whitish (Jane) of Hollandale, WI, Sally Whitish (Dale Strand) of Prairie, Chien and Dan Whitish of Madison.
In lieu of plants and flowers memorials may be given to the Upland Hills Hospice, the Mineral Point FFA, or the Bethel United Methodist Church in loving memory of Gordon S. Whitish.
