He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Olson and Francis Olson; and his siblings, LaVon Watson (Pat), Norma Shreve (John), Calvin Olson (Milo Olson), Clarence (Ethel Sniff), CJ Sniff (Enza), Helen Stone (Robert) and Eugene Sniff (Shirley Sniff).
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Miller (Rochelle Kaskowitz) of St Louis, MO, Kevin Olson (Carol) of Baraboo, WI and Bruce Olson (Patricia) of Madison, WI.; his grandchildren, Lisa McAbee (Ryan), Ben Olson (Maggie), Nathan Miller, Jennifer Kyllo (Mike), Jesse Olson (Rachel), Renee Miller (Yann Lellouche) and Adam Vadeboncoeur (Hanna); his great grandchildren, Taryn and Nolan McAbee; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Olson and William Sniff. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic, the immediate family will gather to celebrate his life.
Memorials may be made in Gerald Olson's name to Agrace Hospice Foundation or Windsor United Church of Christ.
