Catherine Ann Whitford Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine Ann Whitford of Mineral Point, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 2, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William “Will” and Nina (Buckingham) Hawke; her former husbands, Dick Siedl and Joe Skidmore; and her husband Dale Whitford.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Kramer (Scott) of Scottsdale, AZ and Deb Pickett (Steve) of Darlington, WI; her stepchildren, Steve Whitford (Peggy), Cindy Doney (Todd) and Val Foley; her grandchildren, Samantha Kramer, Kristen Pickett (John Perkins), Abbie Holland Schmit (Chris Schmit), Ethan Pickett and McKenzie Pickett; and her great grandchildren, Caden, Henry, Leo, Norah and Miles. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
At the age of 90, Catherine was forced to close the Mineral Point Collection in February 2020 due to the Pandemic, and due to her declining health, Catherine is survived by her daughter, Mary (Scott) Kramer of Scottsdale, AZ; her "adopted" daughter, Deb (Steve) Pickett of Darlington, WI; three stepchildren: Steve (Peggy) Whitford, Cindy (Todd) Doney, and Val Foley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Croix Hospice, SW Wisconsin Cornish Society, Linden Historical Society or Trinity Episcopal Church.
