He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Storandt and Helen Storandt (Johnson); his sister Angeline Haag (Roger "Rusty"); his brother-in-law Gerald Lemke; and his great grandchild Angel Storandt.

He is survived by: his wife Loretta Lemke; and his children, Kathleen Hauser (Hugh), Dennis Storandt (Julie), Charles Storandt, Michael Storandt (Val) and Laura Yehle (John). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren and fifteen step-great-grandchildren.
