Thomas Arthur Downey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2025, at the age of 66, Thomas Arthur Downey (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Thomas Arthur may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his father Joe A. Downey. He is survived by: his mother Valeria A. Downey (V. A.); his wife Rhonda Downey; his children, Graham Downey and Maggie Downey; his siblings, Steve Downey (Gail Ely), Dave Downey (Marion) and Elizabeth Quann (Pat); and his friend Tim Dittrich (Amy). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist (812 N Jackson St, Milwaukee, WI 53202). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
