With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Arnold Auer (Milwaukee, Wisconsin), born in New York, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna and Charles; his in-laws, Robert, Eileen and Eric Redmann; his siblings, Roland (Mary), Charles, Michael (Marie), Margaret Stawicki (Raymond), Veronica Meech (Charles) and Anita Coolehan (Billy); his nephews, Stephan and James Stawicki; and his niece Nicole Auer.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his brother Peter Auer; his brother-in-law Paul Redmann; and his nieces and nephews, Roland Auer (Jo-Ann), Barbara Jean Auer, Raymond Stawicki, Richard Stawicki (Aliceann), Peggy McChesney (Bob), Susan Gallagher (Bill), Kris Stawicki, Jerry Stawicki (Lisa), Charles Stawicki, James Auer, Joseph Auer (Laura), Michael Auer (Diane), Anna Lockhart (Jimmy), Charles Auer, Luella Pinkney, Tyler Redmann and Karli Redmann.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Krause Funeral Home (21600 W Capitol Dr, Brookfield, WI 53072). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
