She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Kennedy and Lillian Kennedy; her husband George E. Newkirk; her children, Michael Newkirk (Rosalie), John Newkirk, Mary Newkirk (Aaron), Kenneth Newkirk (Patti), Daniel Newkirk and Susan Newkirk; her grandchildren, Michael Newkirk and Elizabeth Stenson (Rick); her great grandchildren, Dominic (Rhea), Salvatore, Rocco, Romeo, Faith and Hope; and her brother Leo Kennedy.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Clare Schey and Kay Buddy. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church (7152 N 41st St, Milwaukee, WI 53209). A Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (7301 W Nash St, Milwaukee, WI 53210).
