She was predeceased by: her husband Richard "Dik" Evenson; her son Mark Evenson; her brother Ronald Rehorst (late Joan); and her parents, Lambert Rehorst and Olive Rehorst.
She is survived by: her daughter Jill Cruz (Sammy); her grandchildren, Teresa Cruz, Jose Cruz, Jessica Cruz, Richard Cruz, Samuel, Jazzmaiah, Mariah and Jameer; and her sister Janet Palicka (Bob). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Augustine of Hippo (2530 S Howell Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Holy Trinity Cemetery (3564 South 13th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53221).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marilyn's name may be made to St. Augustine Church.
