Though Jeffrey Luis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jeffrey Luis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberta Hengsbach and Herbert Hengsbach. He is survived by: his wife Wendy; his children, Patrick Hengsbach, Marnie Van Wyk (Michael), Bethany Hengsbach (Sean Popock) and Heidi Dresner (Matt); and his sister Judith Phreed. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandsons.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Church of the Gesu (1145 W Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53233).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Encounter Jesus Capital Fund for the restoration of Gesu.
