Though James Lewis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James Lewis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Violet; his siblings, Robert and Leota Balestrieri (Joseph); and his stepdaughter Linda Simmons. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Thomas Balestrieri (Sandra), Patricia Stolpa (Roy), Judith Balestrieri and Janet Rodman (late Richard); his stepsons, Robert and Jeffery Simmons; and his granddaughter Breanna Simmons (Tom Wawrzyniak). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Prasser-Kleczka South Suburban Chapel (6080 S 27th St, Milwaukee, WI 53221). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the Arlington Park Cemetery (4141 S 27th St, Greenfield, WI 53221).
