He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hutchins and Velma Hutchins; his former wife Mazola Carson; his wife Evelyn Rose Baker; his siblings, Lula Fred, Crawley, Willis, Marvis, Tracy Lynn, Doug, Dave and Ruth; his daughter Theresa Hutchins; and his grandchildren, Sherazzma Hampton and Princeton Hutchins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gwendolyn Lea and Pamela Hutchins-Pugh; his grandchildren, Melvin Lea III, Brandon Lea, Garrett Pugh, Darren Pugh, Lakisha Criss and Christopher Coleman; and his siblings, Cherry Glo, Loereather, Jarvis, Sharon and Dale.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Krause Funeral Home (7001 W Brown Deer Rd, Milwaukee, WI 53223). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cemetery Graceland Cemetery (6401 N 43rd St, Milwaukee, WI 53209).
