It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hollie Elizabeth Barnes of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on August 30, 2024, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her sons, Simon and Benjamin; her parents, Terri Hanks and Michael Hanks; her grandmother Mary Jane Wyatt; her brother Mike Hanks (Sarah); her close friends, Carrie Sitlington, Karen Nguyen, Maria Kielma and Melani Kaplan; her aunts, Julie Oliver and Tammy Van Pool; her uncle Carl Peiter (Melody); her great-aunt Gayle Puopolo (Dan); her former husband Paul Spink; and her pets, Harry, Sarah Jane and Luna. She is also survived by many loving cousins, extended family, a multitude of friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Hollie's memory are appreciated for the benefit of her children and should be directed to Terri Hanks.
