Hal Horneffer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hal Horneffer (Milwaukee, Wisconsin), who passed away on December 6, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Seidler and Louis George Horneffer. He is survived by: his son Mark Horneffer; his daughter-in-law Beth Horneffer of Brookfield, WI; his daughter Karen Horneffer-Ginter; his son-in-law Paul Ginter of Kalamazoo, MI; his grandchildren, Katie Horneffer of Raleigh, NC, David Horneffer of New York City, NY, Emily Horneffer (Washington, DC), Nathan Ginter of Los Angeles, CA and Kenzie Ginter of New York City, NY; and his cousin Carl Seidler.
A burial will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at the Cemetery Riverside Cemetery (1015 Gull Rd, Kalamazoo, MI 49048). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Regency House (929 N Astor St, Milwaukee, WI 53202).
In lieu of flowers and in the spirit of Hal's love for the arts, a contribution in his memory to the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music (https://www.wcmusic.org), the Milwaukee Film Festival, or another arts organization or artist of one's choosing is welcome.
