With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Erika Sander (Milwaukee, Wisconsin), born in San Francisco, California, who passed away on March 1, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Erika departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Erika. Though Erika may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Sander and Gertrude Sander; and her brother Roy Sander.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Feerick Funeral Home (2025 E Capitol Dr, Shorewood, WI 53211). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society (https://www.wihumane.org), Women's Fund of Greater Milwaukee, the Erika Sander Memorial Kinesiology Scholarship, or a charity of your choice.
