He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth McNeir and Cleone McNeir (Hobbs); his son Scott McNeir; and his siblings, Mike McNeir (Dennis), Dale McNeir and Darlene Karas.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his sons, Dana (Karen) and Kyle (Ellen); and his grandchildren, Melissa (Nick), Danielle (Luke), Taylor (Brian), Miles (Jenna), Lindsay, Connor, Bailey and Cory. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
