He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack West and Willie Mae West; and his siblings, James West, Joe Mack West, Preston West, Rufus West, Vernon West, Delores West-McCants and Annie West-Brown Mr.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Pullen of Jackson Mississippi, Anthony Covan of Atlanta, Eric Hayden of La Porte and Douglas West (Angela) of Milwaukee; and his sisters, Elsie Simmons (Isaac) of Coden, Patricia West of Mobile, Shirley McClow (John) of Semmes and Mary Jordan (Ulus) of Philadelphia. He is also survived by Seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
