She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Robert Boettcher and Edna Boettcher (Mengedoth); her husband Rolland L. Grothe; and her grandson Brock. She is survived by: her children, John Grothe (Darlene) and Debra Singletary (Randall); her grandchildren, Alyssa Davis (Kolby), Zachary, Nicholas and Tatiana Singletary; her great grandchildren, Isabell, Addie, Max, Weston, Asher, Teiah and Hezekiah; and her sisters, Lila Rouse and Patricia "Pat" Boettcher.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family asks that donations be made to your local hospice or the Alzheimer's Association in Virginia's memory.
