He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas S. Smith and Florence Smith (Carlson); his sister Diana Vera; his parents-in-law, Daniel T. and Ann Sheridan; his brother-in-law Daniel P. Sheridan; his nephew John Schroeder; and his pet TJ (Tom Junior).
He is survived by: his wife Vickie Sheridan; his daughter Kimberly Smith-Flanders; his grandchildren, Courtney and Ben Flanders; his sister Florence Barford (Raymond); his siblings-in-law, Sheryl Walls (Tony), Lisa Marshall (Don), Michael Sheridan (Kim), David Sheridan and Paul Sheridan (Tammie); his close friends, Gene, Angie, Jeff and Sharon; and his pets, Fletcher and Jazzy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
