Loretta Schrank Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2023, at the age of 75, Loretta Schrank (Milton, Wisconsin), born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Burkhardt and Helen Burkhardt (Pasternak); her parents-in-law, Harold and Jeannine Schrank; her brother Raymond Burkhardt; her daughter Sarah Smejkal; and her niece Amy Schrank.

She is survived by: her sons, Benjamin and Andrew; her pet Ben; her husband Bill Schrank; her sons, Ben Smejkal (Leah) of Clintonville, WI and Andy Smejkal (Ashley) of Grand Junction, WI.; her sisters, Mary Ann Burkhardt (Sue Hale) of Janesville, WI and Diane Joseph (Paul) of Delavan, WI; her siblings-in-law, Susan Burkhardt of Tomahawk, WI and Bob Schrank (Sharon) of Milton, WI.; her granddaughter Alyssa Papcke (Codi); her great grandchild Finley; her grandson Austin Smejkal (Amber Katz); her great grandchild Luna; and her grandchildren, Lily, Veda, Nala Smejkal, Xoe Smejkal, Sami, Brock and Alli Smejkal. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

How could they forget that they had to RSVP to come to Mrs. Schrank's house for Christmas breakfast and to the end of the year pool party?

In lieu of flowers there has been a Venmo account set up in Lori's name. Although all the details haven't been finalized but donations will be used for a memorial tree/bench at Milton West Elementary School.
