She was predeceased by: her father Michael Falkenstein; and her husband Evan Sweeney. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Sweeney, John Sweeney, Thomas Sweeney (Kerri), Diane Sweeney, Kathleen Arndt (Jeffrey), Rose Sweeney (Wanda), Joanne Sweeney, Julie Sweeney, Yvonne Sweeney, Stephen Sweeney, Lori Sweeney (Susan), Kevin Sweeney, Kelli Hardesty (David), William Sweeney (Kari), Michael Sweeney (April) and Tracy Anderson (Gary). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Catherine's name to Mercy Hospice, St. Jude's, of Boystown.
