He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard H. Greunke and Anna Greunke (Wepner); his wife Ardis Greunke (Freeck); and his siblings, Ella, Alma, Erma, Estelle, Helen, Viola, Leonard, Armin, Ceylon and Delbert.
He is survived by: his brother Brookside Cheese Factory; his children, David Greunke, Steve Greunke (Cindy), Mitch Greunke (Carolyn), Rosanne Greunke, Scott Greunke, Alan Greunke (Joan), Sandy Keuntjes (Doug), Kathy Greunke and Sara Moses (Gary); his grandchildren, Shawna Greunke, Megan Greunke, Joshua Greunke, Brittany Ritter (Dan), Kristin Greunke, Jacob Greunke, Jessica Schulfer (Ryan), Bradley Greunke, Holly Denecour (Caleb), Kyle Greunke, Jordyne Greunke, Brett Greunke, David Greunke (Rochelle), Heidi Keuntjes, Michael Keuntjes, Emily Moses and Claire Moses; his great grandchildren, Austin, Logan, Jacey Schulfer, Matthew, Lucas, Anna Ritter, Alana, Alexis Greunke, Lyle Denecour and Amelia Keuntjes; and his brother Orville Greunke. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, children, and grandchildren.
